HARSH CRAB LANDS
- Get to know the Lands & Clans
The Crab leader Hida Mutsumi can be found at Crab headquarters, in the City called Clear Water Village, along with his wise wife and two stubborn uncles.
South of Clear Water lies a smelly fishing village that provides pearls, and to the north stand a mining village which extracts jade. In both these locations you will encounter representatives of the Hida Family.
West of Clear Water stretch a long wall, defending Rokugan against the mysterious Shadowlands. It's governed by cousins of Hida Mutsumi, as well as the Kaiu Family architects. Here you can also find members of Kuni and Hiruma.

[ NEUTRAL MERCHANT ]
Ide Kokona, a Unicorn Clan merchant responsible for trade with the Crab Clan, can be found in Clear Water.
[ NEUTRAL SPY ]
Not yet in conflict, Soshi Makoto spies for the Scorpion Clan. Primarily keeping an eye on jade extraction.
[ HOSTILE SPY ]
Also part of the Scorpion Clan but acting on her own agenda, Yogo Yukizane travel along the wall. Like the rest of the Yogo Family, she's hunting those who practise evil magic and keeps a close eye on the Kuni Family.
BILLOWING CRANE LANDS

The Crane leader Doji Konosuke can be found at Crab headquarters, in the City called Esteemed Palaces, along with his court. Here you can find all Crane Families including Kakita, Daidoji and Asahina.
South of Esteemed Palaces lies several popular locations such as Wall Above the Ocean Village, governed by the Kakita sword-smiths, and Summerlands, governed by Doji Konosuke's retired grandfather.
[ ONGOING WAR ]
North of Esteemed Palaces a guerrilla war is taking place. Leading the Crane army is the Daidoji family, with Doji Miya-nokoshi and Asahina Nozaki at their side. Leading the Lion army is the legendary Samurai Akodo Ogai and his brilliant sister Aomi. Kitsu Ikegame stand with them, and so is a team of Soshi Shinobi.

[ NEUTRAL ENVOYS ]
Hiruma Yakomo of the Crab Clan, and Ide Tsunesaburo of the Unicorn Clan are both envoys at Crane headquarters. Yakomo is requesting support against the Shadowlands, and Tsunesaburo is suggesting a collaboration against Lion Clan.
[ FRIENDLY BODYGUARD ]
The Shiba Family have allowed the employment of one of their bodyguards to Doji Konosuke.
[ NEUTRAL VISITORS ]
Two Kaito shrine keepers are performing their yearly duty in Crane Lands.
[ HOSTILE SPY ]
A secret spy war is brewing between Crane and Scorpion. The leader of the Shosuro Family is travel freely posing as a street performer. A medicine healer of the Asahina Family is one of the targets.


SHARP SCORPION LANDS

The Scorpion leader Bayushi Aoki can be found at Scorpion headquarters, in the City called City of Lies, along with her current Samurai Captain.
East of City of Lies one might find a Monastery, inhabited by silent monks without tongues and libraries of dark secrets. Two young members of the Yogo Family are currently in training here.
South of City of Lies stand the Silk and Shadow Palace, ancestral home of the Bayushi Family. Bayushi Aoki's cousin and number one rival is imprisoned here, under the false pretence of governing the Palace.

[ NEUTRAL MERCHANT ]
[ NEUTRAL ENVOYS ]
Ide Isashibaro, a Unicorn Clan merchant responsible for trade with the Scorpion Clan, can be found in City of Lies.
Two envoys can also be found here; Isawa Sakiko, daughter of the Phoenix Clan leader, and Kitsu Tsuruki of the Lion Clan. Sakiko is requesting support against the shamans of the Unicorn Clan, and Tsuruki is suggesting a collaboration against Crane Clan.
A third envoy is biding his time, Hiruma Tamataro of the Crab Clan. He knows Bayushi Aoki will refuse to support Crab against the Shadowlands, and is trying to figure out a way to convince her.
[ HOSTILE SPY ]
City of Lies also contain a Crane spy, Asami leader of the Kakita Family. She has set up shop as a glass blower, posing as a neutral merchant. While her father, Kakita Maro stealth near Silk and Shadow Palace. He's being followed by the leader of the Soshi Family, Nishizorro.
[ FRIENDLY CRAB ]
Shinden Temple of Thunder stand on the forest edge, housing retired Crab Samurai, looked after by a member of the Kaiu family.
GREAT LION LANDS

The Lion leader Akodo Toturi can be found at Lion headquarters, in the City called Courtliness City, along with Samurai Captain Ikoma Juzaburo and the leader of the Matsu Family, Kenkichi.
South of Courtliness City lies a village famous for brewing exceptional sake. There's also the ancestral home of the Kitsu Family, Temple of Listening Ghosts. To the east stand the Four Temples, once a neutral place now governed by Ikoma Yoshinobu, who're tutoring two young Kitsu siblings.
[ ONGOING WAR ]
East and South are both bordered by war as the Matsu Family lead the Lion against the Unicorn, while Akodo war against Crane.

Soshi Yanari hide in Courtliness City awaiting instructions, but despite great skill she struggle to remain due to Lion vigilance.
[ NEUTRAL ENVOY ]
Hida Wakaba have travelled far from Crab Clan to request Lion support against the Shadowlands.
[ HOSTILE SPY ]
Despite being chased by various Lion Clan members, the spy master of the Daidoji Family move with ease across Lion Lands.

The Kaito twins are performing their yearly duty as shrine keepers in Lion Lands.


ANCIENT PHOENIX LANDS

The Phoenix leader Isawa Juzo can currently be found at Ki-Rin Shrine. Location of Phoenix headquarters is a hidden secret. All Phoenix holdings are looked after by the Asako Family, who work as groundkeepers.
West of Ki-Rin Shrine lies Red Horn Village, a small but festive place favoured by the Phoenix Clan. To the south stand Temple of the Burned Monk, a famous location of tranquillity.

Yogo Mishima of Scorpion Clan is travelling Phoenix Lands hunting those who practise evil magic. He keeps an eye on Isawa Juzo at the time when Iuchi Urako perform her assassination attempt on Juzo. Iuchi Urako is a shaman of the Unicorn Clan.
[ NEUTRAL ENVOY ]
[ HOSTILE SPY ]
Doji Yumiko of Crane Clan has come to find Isawa Juzo and ask Phoenix help against Lion and/or Scorpion Clan. She's currently at Burned Monk Temple with her bodyguard, when Akodo Tetsuya of Scorpion Clan attempt to assassinate Yumiko. Tetsuya left his Lion Family to join the Scorpion.
[ FRIENDLY ENVOY ]
[ FRIENDLY VISITOR ]
Two Dragon Clan members are currently in Red Horn Village. Agasha Koma is looking for Isawa Juzo to ask intellectual collaboration between their Clans.
At the same time, a Samurai champion of the Mirumoto Family is on a journey to find a worthy challenger to prove herself.
WILD DRAGON LANDS
- Get to know the Lands & Clans
The Dragon leader Togashi Nampo can be found at a fake version of the mythical High House of Light. The real location is a hidden secret. Nampo reside with his fellow Togashi monks and a number of Mirumoto Samurai.
Master Mirumoto Shigochiyo himself is travelling across Dragon Lands, studying its every rock and flower. The Kitsuki Family also prefer to roam Dragon Lands.
Few Dragon Clan members venture outside their own borders. Two who have are Mirumoto Champion Terumi Yonago, who seek a worthy challenger, and the envoy Agasha Keina. Young Agasha thinks she has a better chance than anyone else to achieve an intellectual collaboration between Dragon and Unicorn Clan.

Bayushi Akiyama, brother of the Scorpion Clan leader, have travelled far to suggest an exchange of knowledge between the Clans. Not allowed to meet Nampo so far, Akiyama spend his time spying on the Togashi Order.


VAST UNICORN LANDS

The Unicorn leader Shinjo Ippei can be found at Unicorn headquarters, in the City called Khanbulak, along with his Iuchi shamans. The City junctions with a vast network of merchant roads leading west.
East of Khanbulak stand Plains Wind Monastery, a vital farmland governed by the Iuchi Family. Further east lies Hyozensho, stronghold of the Utaku Battlemaidens, currently governed by Ide Ena who's responsible for trade with Dragon Clan.
[ONGOING WAR]
A war is being fought along the river bordering Lion Lands, as Utaku Kamoko and her sisters defend against a Lion invasion.

[ NEUTRAL ENVOY ]
Yogo Reina of Scorpion Clan claim to be an envoy asking for trade alliance, but is secretly hunting a Phoenix spy named Kaito Seiichi.
Togashi Oharu on the other hand is a real envoy from Dragon Clan, sent by Togashi Nampo to ask for intellectual collaboration between the Clans.
[ HOSTILE VISITOR ]
Kaito Seiichi, leader of the Katio Family has taken it upon himself to complete the dangerous journey through Unicorn Lands. As shrine keepers the Kaito have a yearly duty to visit all shrines in Rokugan. Unaware that he's being hunted by Master Shinjo Toshi-take, uncle of the Unicorn Clan leader.
VOLCANIC MANTIS LANDS

The Mantis leader Yoritomo Do-hyun can be found at Mantis headquarters, in the City called Yoritomo City, along with his council. As a small Clan, the families all rely heavily upon one another to uphold their unity.
Despite continuous blame for ruthless piracy, and of tax avoidance, there's no denying the wealth of this small Clan. Desperate traders swarm Yoritomo City, risking life and limb for a piece of the action.

Ide Ryuko is the young Genasi responsible for Unicorn trade with the Mantis Clan and its surrounding area.
[ NEUTRAL VISITORS ]
The Kakita siblings, Kia and Ato, of Crane Clan are unlikely visitors. They are both artists, on a creative journey for inspiration.
